You forgot to put a question mark at the end. But, to answer your question, they do have good fish sandwiches, fries, sweet tea, and nice people.
Thear slaw is a trade secret.
They now have delivery via islandtime take out or uber eats.
SNAP DIGGIDDIY THE BEST FAST FOOD RESTAURANT AROUND!!!
Great food. Good service. Reasonable priced.
This place was ok. Definitely wasnt the experience I expected from the reviews of people who grew up here. (I'm from just south of here in Jacksonville) its also priced VERY high, so expect to drop some change for no frills service.
I luv this place I had my buddy Express mail a big Willie burger to Oklahoma city just so I could have a little something from home . Me and the wife would also drive down on a Saturday for lunch just to eat there !!
Best Slaw Dawg Ever! Been coming to SSI my entire life but have never stopped at Willie’s in BWICK until last week. Super friendly staff members and the food comes out quick. Come get yourself a Willies Wee-Nee folks and support this local business!
I have been going to Willie's since I was 15 years old. Even after 30 years I have to say the food and employee's are still the best you will find in Brunswick Ga. We lost a very important part of our community when Mr Willie passed away but we are thankful that his legacy is still going strong and his family still have the same standards for the food and the people. 😎
It’s always a good sign to see a long line and Willie’s was no exception. There’s a sheltered seating area with picnic tables and some tables inside. The French fries were chunky, steak—style but cooked perfectly with a crispy outside. The hot dogs are a touch expensive at $4 but the toppings were generous so it feels like a good price.
This was one of the best places I've ever eaten. The sweet tea was on point. The service was good. If I had a bunch of money i would franchise this in Florida. just a perfect little spot. I highly recommend it.
Food was great!!!Just how I remember it always being. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
The price was way too expensive for the quality of the food. My friend and I stopped by to get a bite to eat for lunch after a doctor's appointment. He told me that he use to stop by and pick up several of the famous Willie Dogs back when he was younger. We each got 2 Willie Dogs and a glass of sweet tea. The price came to $20 and some change. The hotdogs were dried out and the tea tasted like syrup. It wasn't just my cup of tea, No Pun intended. The service was fantastic and the waitress was an absolute pleasure. After leaving, I had him to stop by McDonald's and grabbed a couple of burgers to get the taste out of our mouths.
The most important thing to know is don't forget to ask for peppers with the pork chop sandwich. Yeah, it's simple... Bread, onions, mustard, pork chops... But it is damn good. There are other things on the menu, but I don't eat there enough to pass up on the pork chop. I'm told the big Willie dog and burger are great too, and occasionally the fish sandwich is given high praise, but I wouldn't know. And that's some good sweet tea.
Wow, this place is awesome. We ate the Chili Dogs and Pork Chop Sandwich. Both were very, very good. The service was absolutely excellent. The young lady that waited on us truly liked what she did. I will eat here on every vacation to the Golden Isles.
This restaurant has been about for many years. They have the best pork chop sandwich hands down, they can’t be beat!
I'm under the impression, if you have to place a order wait for your order it will be HOTT! Not the case Slaw dog was ice cold, and Poke Chop Sammish was cold, and very thin. I paid extra for a Coke, but they gave me tea. I will not go back again.
Been eating here every chance I get into town now since high school always great food!
Was in the area from out of town and saw this place as one of the highest rated in Brunswick. If eating at a hotdog stand is a weird thought, rest assured you'll find something you enjoy. There is outdoor covered seating and a small enclosed patio. The food was really great - had a burger and wife had two hot dogs. Decent price and good food, exactly what you want for a quick lunch
Great local place to check out. Good food and pretty good service. I had the Philly Cheesecake and wasn't disappointed.
Food is generally good. A little pricey for a hot dog stand.
This place is lit. Best burgers and dogs around. The pork chop sandwich is bomb. The fries are thick steak cut potatoes and there's enough of them in one order to share. There's a reason this place has been around as long as it has been. Well worth the price and if you eat on the premises, you get free refills on your drinks. Haven't tried them? I suggest you do....you're missing out.
What can I say, Willie's never let you down. The staff are characters😁, kind people that keep a smile on your face. Food delicious and prompt. We tend to visit weekly.
This is a HISTORIC hotdog stand/restaurant run by great people. The food is always hot and fresh, and the atmosphere is relaxed. People eat here on their breaks, tourists come through, and it's directly across from the local college in Brunswick. I love it!!
No frills old style hot dog stand with picnic seating inside and on the outdoor patio. Hot dogs are obviously the man menu items. They offer several different in-house styles of dogs. If hot dogs aren't your thing, they have a surprisingly good steak sandwich and burger. The downside. Ordering is extremely slow and with no listed prices, you could have some sticker shock when you get your ticket. They need an ice cream machine. A milkshake would be great pairing with this old style menu.
Willie's Wee-Bee Wagon is considered to be a local landmark for Brunswick, Georgia. The restaurant serves hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries and other fast-food items. We ordered the Brunswick dog which comes with ketchup, mustard, tomatoes, onions and relish. Unfortunately, portion size and quality has changed since Mr. Willie and his wife passed away. The buns were shorter and flatter and the hot dog did not have the same taste as ones we had during prior visits. That being said it is still a local family-run business that serves fast-food in a no-frills setting that will bring back memories of a simpler place and time.
awesome drive in. this place has it all
Best Dogs anywhere with awesome peppers. A true entrepreneur's dream come true. No disappointments here,
Wow! I've gone here twice now and both times have been great. Very friendly wait staff and the food is both delicious and reasonably priced. The fried pork chop sandwich is huge and amazing! Can't speak highly enough about Willie's Wee Nee Wagon. Stop reading this review and just go there now . It's that great!
Its not as good as it used to be, the burgers used to be seasons so amazingly that you didn't need anything else on it. Now they are bland and only come with one slice of cheese. I miss the old burgers they were so good and would make your mouth water just at the thought of them.
Been coming here for 25+ years. Really going downhillCheese on your hot dog cost an extra. $0.90 yes a whole dollar after tax for adding cheese...4 chili dogs with 1 fry and 2 teas =$30Save your money, go somewhere better for lessSorryIt ain't the same anymore
Pork chop sandwich was awesome, per my husband. My fish sandwich was delicious.
Went to this place today and ordered a hamburger and a porkchop sandwich. The hamburger was so small and thin it was almost transparent. This was and has been the worst visit i have ever had. The prices are to high for the quality of the food which doesn't have the taste it used to have. This place has really gone down hill.
Crowded which is good for them , I did not check my order because it was rather large but when I got home I was missing some food for my kid. The burger and dogs were great tasting. Would love to have a bigger drink size.
It would have had 5 stars if 2 things did not happen, 1 they put beans (filler) in hotdog chili, I have been to a large number of hot dog establishments and beans are not in hot dog chili.2. They let a gentleman customer stand in the indoor pickup window where you pick up your hot dogs, but also where they wrap them and package them. He was talking with the workers with his head in the window over where they preped them.If he had a mask like the employees were wearing, I would habe been fine.
A must try if you ever visit Brunswick. You won’t regret it! The Bulldog is amazing.
Stopped here on a whim and ordered the pork chop sandwich. It was excellent! This will be a regular stop when visiting the area.
Great "hole in the wall" place. Had their Chili Dog and Fries. I do not often eat Dogs and Fries, but when I do, I go to Willie's. The Pork Chop Sandwich is outstanding.
Absolutely love this place. Their Sweet Tea is amazing!!
Great local food joint. Hot dogs are great especially with their various types of toppings although fries aren't the best. Price is roughly comparable to Chik-Fil-A. Service can be a little slow sometimes but not ridiculously slow.
Willie Burger all the way with cheese, fries and tea. So good that you eat way too fast. Well worth the 20 minute wait. Wish there was a Willie Jr. on St Simons.
There is nothing like Willie's. Go to Willy's. A very popular local place.
My boyfriend took me here while we were visiting his home town, and he was super excited to eat here because Willie’s has always been his favorite hot dog joint. We were immensely disappointed with our experience. I spent $11.00 on two hot dogs and a sweet tea, and for what I spent I could have literally bought my own ingredients and made a better hot dog in less than 5 minutes. What we were served was nothing short of hot garbage, and on top of that, the first woman I spoke to while ordering was rude. I don’t know if they were having an off day, but Willie’s definitely did not live up to it’s reputation.
The food is always fresh and on time never had a bad piece of food come out of this place and I've been going here since the 80s recommend it to everyone the pork chop sandwiches out of this world the hot dogs are very tasty all the food that I've ever ordered has been ride on time no bad order has ever come out of there
One of the best places on Earth. The pork chop sandwich is masterful. Dogs always great, fries are fresh. A true Brunswick classic establishment.
I waited in pick up area for almost ten minutes to pick up my food and not one of the six employees I seen asked me what I needed. When I received my order after going to order window it was cold and burger was over cooked. Best thing they have is tea but so does McDonald's. I heard such good things about this place its disappointing that it wasn't what I heard. Maybe next time we'll be better.
This place was absolutely amazing!! The sweet tea is as sweet as the service. The coleslaw is outstanding. I got the krautdog, yum yum. Don't worry about tipping, your patronage is all they want. I am an out towner and felt like home. You cant smoke inside, but lighting up outside is a okay.
As teenager years ago love there hotdogs wish they where in Jacksonville Florida. Thanks for the memories.
I went there years ago and got a burger and it was an actual burger. I ordered one Thursday and it was a small patty that was way overcooked and on a hoagie bun. So I had half a hoagie that was just bread.
Best hot dogs 🌭 in the world 🌎 and a Willie's cheese steak to die for.
I love this place!!! They have the best tasting porkchop sandwich in town!!! I highly recommend this place. I even drive to Willie’s even if it is out of the way. Service is fast and the customer service is excellent. Line can get really long if you come bu during lunch time but for me, it is worth the wait. The porkchop sandwich is what I usually order. It is made of thin slices of pork which is seasoned really well with caramelized grilled onions, mustard and mayo on a warm bun and with wedge french fries on the side. The atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back.
The food is almost decent but way overpriced. The service is deplorable. This review is coming from a girl who ❤️’s the Varsity in Atlanta and was expecting something comparable. In my opinion, awful service is somewhat acceptable if the food is amazing. (Took me a long time to come to this realization in major cities) This place has neither good service or food. Too bad. I was expecting better of this Brunswick icon. Won’t be back.
Our first time and it was delicious... Personally not a fan of the fries but the rest are yummy
